16 hour Air India flight with broken seat and no real help after

First long haul flight and it was rough.

Seat wouldn’t recline at all on a 16 hour flight, stuck upright the whole time. Entertainment screens were broken and parts of the seat were literally held together with zip ties. Food wasn’t great either.

Tried to upgrade for the return and got quoted everything from “no availability” to $2700 to $7000 within the same call.

After explaining everything, best they offered was a $100 upgrade to an exit row and no refund for the seat I originally paid for.

Pretty disappointing experience overall.
