Flying to Hanoi with a 12 hour layover in Istanbul on the way out and 60 hours on the way back.
For the 12 hour stop, landing at 14:15 and thinking about Touristanbul. The 16:00 tour might be tight depending on immigration lines, especially if it’s busy. Personally I’d probably aim for the 18:30 one just to avoid stressing the whole time. Lockers are available, but I’d use whichever is most convenient after you clear arrivals since you’ll be exiting anyway.
For the 60 hour stopover, the hotel voucher only covering one night feels a bit limiting, but still worth asking about at the hotel desk when you land. Worst case, you book your own place for the extra nights. Istanbul is too good of a city to waste sitting at the airport.
If it were me, I’d plan it like a mini trip and not rely 100 percent on the voucher working smoothly.
