Just got back from the most packed and eye-opening family road trip we’ve ever taken. Starting and ending in DC, we looped through Virginia and Maryland, blending historic sites, nature trails, roller coasters, and fried crab cakes. Highlights? Shenandoah’s Skyline Drive, Colonial Williamsburg’s revolutionary drama, Busch Gardens' gut-dropping rides, and DC’s surprisingly Euro-style metro system. The mix of fun and reflection and fried food made me fall in love with America all over again just in a deeper, more complex way.
Anyone else done a similar East Coast route?
