I have a 9 hour 55 minute layover at Hong Kong Airport coming up at the end of March 2026.
The flight arrives from Dhaka at 6:30am with Cathay Pacific and the connecting flight to Dallas departs at 4:30pm. From what I understand, Cathay Pacific doesn’t provide a complimentary stopover hotel for this connection.
I normally fly Qatar Airways but decided to avoid routing through the Middle East this time.
Since the layover is almost 10 hours, the plan is to leave the airport, possibly get a nearby hotel for a few hours, and maybe explore a bit of the city instead of staying in the terminal.
Looking for suggestions on hotels near the airport that allow flexible or short stays, and any quick things worth doing in Hong Kong during a few free hours.
