I’m seeing availability for Air India first class YVR to DEL for 130k points. I know Air India has a rough reputation, but first class at that price is tempting.
DEL is my final destination. Plan would be to drive from SEA to YVR on a one way Avis rental for about $50, so positioning is easy enough.
The other option is PDX to DEL via CDG on Air France business for roughly the same number of points.
Curious what others would choose here. Roll the dice on Air India first for the experience, or play it safe with Air France business?
