My husband and I want to plan a couple of Europe trips over the next year or two using our HGV Max points, but I’m struggling to see how people actually do this in practice.
Most of the HGV resorts in Europe don’t seem to be anywhere near major cities. We were hoping to do something like Lisbon, Madrid, and Paris on one trip, then London, Dublin, and Edinburgh on another. We’re fine with about an hour drive into a city, but a lot of these resorts are three plus hours away, which feels unrealistic.
Has anyone here successfully planned a European trip using HGV points? Did you split time between resorts and hotels, or just base yourselves far out and drive? Curious how others have made it work.
