Apologies if this is unusual, but we’re in a tough spot and hoping the travel community can help.
My sister is traveling to India for a family emergency and is currently stuck because a required document is missing. Her valid Indian visa is in her expired passport, which is physically in New York. She’s transiting through Munich, and the airline requires the actual passport containing the visa.
If anyone in the NYC area is flying to Munich or elsewhere in Germany today (12/21) or tomorrow (12/22) and would be willing to hand carry the expired passport and meet her at the airport or another safe public place, we would be extremely grateful.
