Has anyone else experienced this?
I was trying to move my evening flight to an early afternoon one the next day. The app initially showed a $50 difference. But it wouldn’t actually let me complete the change, so I went to chat support.
While I was chatting, the price jumped from $140 to $180 to $210 within about 15 minutes. I even noticed the app price updating in real time while I was still in the conversation.
I ended that chat and called instead. First agent quoted $140. Second agent eventually offered $125. So clearly the number isn’t fixed.
I’m not blaming the reps, but the whole dynamic pricing setup feels ridiculous. Going from a $50 change to potentially $210 just because I had to speak to someone feels absurd.
