My wife and I have been wanting to visit Thailand but she has a severe sesame allergy. We’ve traveled a lot with allergy cards in local languages, but even at home she’s had a few close calls.
Sesame is pretty common in Thai food, and I’m not sure how well allergies are understood there. Would it even be realistic to go? Or should we just stick to chain spots like hotels, McDonald’s, and 7/11 to stay safe?
