Staying at an IHG property in the US with a lounge. At check in they told me I can’t get my Diamond breakfast vouchers if I’m using lounge access. Basically I have to eat breakfast in the lounge and that’s it.
I’ve stayed at this same hotel before and was able to get the vouchers and still use the lounge, so this caught me off guard.
I mentioned it to the concierge later and she gave me the vouchers without any issue. So now I’m even more confused.
Is this an actual policy change or just inconsistent enforcement at certain properties?
