Just wanted to share something that helped in case anyone else is dealing with Qatar cancellations right now.
My original flight was supposed to be LAX to Karachi, and when it got canceled the agents kept trying to rebook me onto later Qatar Airways flights. The problem is there seems to be a decent chance those flights will just get canceled again.
Instead, ask them to reroute you on a partner airline.
In my case we managed to get rerouted through Turkish Airlines, which solved the problem. The agent initially kept insisting there were no options and tried pushing a Qatar flight on March 24, but after pushing a bit they were able to find the partner routing.
If you’re stuck in the same situation, it might save you some time and frustration to ask about partner airlines right away instead of accepting another Qatar rebooking.
