Honestly don’t know how AS21 even made it out yesterday. It was one of the last flights to leave JFK and apparently the only one that departed from T8 before the snowstorm really hit.
No idea what made it happen. Seahawks fans? Deadheading crew that absolutely had to get to Seattle to avoid messing up schedules? Some aviation magic?
All I know is we got insanely lucky. If that flight hadn’t gone, my grad trip plans would’ve completely fallen apart. Still thinking about it today.
