Spirit says I canceled my own flight… but I didn’t

I was literally about to leave for the airport when I got a Google Calendar notification saying my flight was canceled.


I contacted Spirit expecting to sort out a refund, and they told me I had canceled the flight myself two days earlier. I definitely did not. I got no email confirmation, didn’t give my info to anyone, and never touched the booking.


I’ve talked to multiple reps and keep getting the same response.


I’ve seen other people online say this happened to them and that Spirit eventually admitted it was a glitch and refunded them. So far, no luck for me.


Has anyone successfully pushed back on this?
