I checked a PHX to PVR flight right at the 48 hour mark hoping to grab an extra legroom seat with the Priority card perk. There were a bunch open just before, then literally seconds later everything was gone.
No way that was all manual bookings that fast. Feels like Southwest is auto-assigning those upgrades right at 48 hours or something.
Makes the whole “check right at 48 hours” thing seem kinda pointless.
