Train was completely packed today and I finally lucked into a window seat in a four-seater. A family of four boarded with a ton of stuff and asked if I’d move to the seat behind me so they could sit together.
I said no, politely, and explained I was already settled and had a long ride left. The other seat wasn’t a window, which mattered to me for a 6-hour trip.
I wasn’t rude about it, but I’m curious what others think. Fair to say no in this situation, or bad form?
