Paid extra for Priority and reserved seat 1C. Big mistake.
Crew wouldn’t let me use the overhead above my seat and made me put my cabin bag several rows back to keep space for smaller bags from row 2. Even empty lockers across the aisle were a no.
I wasn’t first off the bus, so by the time I boarded my bag ended up around row 10. Which means instead of being first off the plane, I had to wait or push back through the aisle to get it.
Basically paid extra to lose the main benefit of sitting in row 1. Would’ve been way better off in an exit row with my bag nearby.
Lesson learned.
