Rookie mistake, booked a “connecting balcony” and ended up with one room for four adults

Booked our first cruise (RC Star of the Seas) and thought I was reserving two connecting balcony rooms. Turns out I actually booked just one room listed as a “connecting balcony.” Now all four of us me, my husband, and our two adult sons are in one cabin.

I’m honestly so embarrassed. RC confirmed it’s all under one room, and we’re paid in full. Has anyone been able to fix this kind of mix-up before? Or are we just rolling with it and calling it “family bonding time”?
