Had a business class ticket HKG to DFW via ICN, and the ICN to DFW leg got canceled right before departure. AA told me I could either wait two days for another J seat or take premium economy, so I took the downgrade. Paid around 8k for the round trip.
Filed for a partial refund the next day and AA denied it. Called in, got told to submit a written complaint, and they’d reply in 48 hours. It’s been more than 48 hours and still nothing.
Anyone know the best way to push this? Seems wild to get downgraded on a long haul and not see a cent back.
