We flew Berlin to Auckland with Qatar at the end of Feb, everything was fine at first. Then our return flights started getting cancelled again and again, usually about a day before departure.
Spent two weeks trying everything. Calls, chat, social media, even family calling from Germany. Nothing. No rebooking, no real help. At one point our tickets just disappeared from the app.
A few days ago it looked like flights were running again, then cancelled again last minute. Only option they gave us was a refund.
We ended up booking new flights with Qantas and paying a lot just to get home.
What makes it worse is friends flying later actually got rebooked onto Turkish Airlines, while we got nothing.
First and probably last time flying Qatar.
