Pretty happy with this redemption and wanted to share. After watching seats.aero and digging through posts here, I booked LAX to CDG nonstop in Air France business class for August 3.
Two tickets, bulkhead seats in the new 1-2-1 cabin. Total was 120k points plus about $488 in fees for both. Transferred Chase UR to Flying Blue. Cash price was north of $10k, so even with the surcharges this felt like a solid win.
We’ve never been to France and my partner has never flown business class, so this should be a pretty memorable first time. Huge thanks to this sub for all the knowledge that made this possible.
