Flew OSL to CPH and paid for seat selection when booking.
Checked in and my seat was gone. Almost the whole plane was already assigned, so I didn’t have many options left.
Spoke to customer service and was basically told “sometimes seat selection just disappears” with a shrug. Asked about a refund for the seat fee and was told that wasn’t possible.
There was no aircraft change or schedule change that would explain it.
Has this happened to anyone else with SAS? What’s the point of paying for a seat if it can just vanish?
