Boarded at Alton, IL with a big crowd. Train came in on time but left about 8 minutes late and stayed around 5 to 10 minutes behind until Lincoln. Took the siding at McLean for a southbound freight, then oddly backed out of it after it cleared. Turns out there was another freight sitting in the siding.
Now running about 25 minutes late. Otherwise a smooth ride so far. AMA if you’re curious about anything on this route.
