Changed my name with AA months ago after getting married. Everything looked fine, flew AUS–LAX with no issues. But after upgrading my seat, their system somehow flipped me back to my maiden name.
Now I’m in Japan and AA says they can’t fix it mid-trip. Only options are hope a gate agent lets me board or pay $400+ to rebook. Has anyone dealt with this before or found a workaround?
