Got denied check-in for my Brazil trip because Qatar (ticket booked through LATAM) couldn’t read my visa, the machine-readable numbers at the bottom were basically invisible. I honestly didn’t notice when I got the visa months ago since all my personal info/validity looked fine.
I’m calling the embassy first thing to get it reprinted, but now I’m stressing about the ticket. Anyone know if the airline will let me move the date for free once I have a properly printed visa? The fare was expensive and I’m hoping they’ll work with me since it wasn’t really my fault.
Would love to hear if anyone’s dealt with something like this.
