Honestly expected chaos after all the recent complaints, but it was totally fine. Booked a basic fare for 5,500 points BOI to LAS just to burn some old points. Paid about $40 for EarlyBird, got A27, brought a roller bag.
Flight was on a MAX with like 75 empty seats. No seat saving drama, no preboard abuse, no gate announcements begging people to check bags. Crew was friendly, plane was clean, on time, and I even grabbed an extra legroom seat.
I’m sure I lucked out with a half empty flight, but figured I’d share a rare positive data point.
