Booked my first-ever Hyatt stay with points months ago, showed up right at midnight, and the front desk said they had no record of my reservation. Customer service confirmed I did have one, but the hotel refused to honor it said they were full.
Ended up with nowhere to stay, had to drive all night back home with my dad. Hyatt support couldn’t rebook or help, just asked if I wanted to “cancel.”
Got a “thanks for your stay” email the next morning. Honestly unreal.
