Hidden Downsides of Disney’s Pop Century Resort, What I Wish I Knew Before Booking

Just got back from Disney’s Pop Century Resort and thought I’d share a few key things to consider before booking. It’s affordable and the theming is super fun, especially if you love nostalgia. But heads-up: the motel-style setup means exterior room entrances, which isn’t ideal in Florida’s unpredictable weather. Also, while the Skyliner is convenient, it shuts down during storms something we learned the hard way.

Dining options are also limited. The food court was fine but nothing to write home about, and there’s no table-service restaurant. If you value good food and shorter walks, consider upgrading to a room near the Skyliner or picking another resort. That said, it’s still a good value if you know what to expect. Anyone else stayed here and found a way around the downsides?
