Heads up for anyone using the GoWild pass. Frontier quietly changed the rules last week and didn’t really announce it.
If your GoWild booking has a +1 day connection (overnight layover), it now triggers an Early Booking Fee. This applies even if you’re booking for tomorrow.
New rule in plain English:
Both legs of a GoWild itinerary have to depart either today or tomorrow to avoid the early booking fee.
So if:
Leg 1 departs tomorrow
Leg 2 departs the day after tomorrow
You now get hit with the fee.
A few weeks ago, Frontier only cared about the first leg’s departure date. Didn’t matter when the second leg left. That’s no longer the case.
This actually helps some people trying to book direct flights or simpler connections, so there is logic to it. But the big issue is Frontier didn’t communicate this change at all, which is why everyone’s confused and annoyed.

Just something to be aware of before you think you’re doing something wrong.
