Was on a BOS to Tampa flight and they asked for volunteers… $800 + hotel + meals to take the next flight.
Ran up immediately.
Next morning, got on the rebooked flight, even got upgraded… then they asked AGAIN for volunteers. Another $800 to take a slightly later flight.
Ended up with $1600 in gift cards, a hotel stay, free food, and better seats.
Honestly felt like I won the travel lottery.
