Flew Frontier Jan 22 into Memphis. Weather delay, fine, I get it. My checked bag didn’t make it back to Houston with me.
Was told it would be delivered in a few days. Never happened. Since then I’ve called over and over and keep getting different answers. “Still in Memphis.” “Waiting on Memphis.” “Can’t compensate until it’s declared lost.” Just keep waiting.
It’s now been over 30 days.
I’m a traveling makeup artist and most of my work kit is in that bag. I’ve explained that every single time. They refunded the checked bag fee and that’s it. No updates unless I call. No reimbursement talk. No timeline.
At what point does delayed officially become lost? Over a month feels beyond unreasonable.
Has anyone actually gotten Frontier to escalate something like this? Is filing a DOT complaint the next move?
