Frontier changed my connection to leave before I even landed

Honestly one of the worst booking experiences I’ve had.

My dad and I booked DCA to SNA with a Denver layover months in advance. Early on, the schedule changed a few times but it was so far out we didn’t think much of it.

Then closer to the trip we checked again and realized the connecting flight out of Denver now departed a full hour before our first flight was even scheduled to land. Literally an impossible connection.

When we called Frontier, they basically said there was nothing they could do and that there were no flights to SNA for the next three days. Our only option was a refund. We ended up having to rebook last minute on American and spend a lot more money. If we’d known this was even a possibility, we never would’ve booked Frontier in the first place.

Customer service was also pretty snarky about the whole thing, which didn’t help.

Has anyone else had Frontier create an impossible connection like this? And is that actually allowed, or just another “it’s Frontier” situation?
