Staying at a Hilton for work and while fumbling around for the TV remote at like 1am, I reached behind the bed and pulled out… a bone. Not a toy. An actual bone with meat still on it. No idea how long it had been sitting there.
Called the front desk right away. They offered a room switch but it was late and I had to be up at 6, so I stayed put. They said the morning crew would handle it. Came back from the job the next day, told the manager, went up with her… bone was still there. She finally removed it and now I’m switching rooms.
They offered to comp the stay, but my company pays so that does nothing for me. I asked for points instead. Curious what people think is fair compensation for something like this.
