Flight time changed but I can’t accept it myself

I booked a Wizz Air flight through Booking.com because it was about 50% cheaper than booking directly. Wizz Air has now changed the flight time and sent me an email about it.


The problem is I can’t confirm that I accept the change. In the Wizz Air app it says only the person who made the booking can accept it, which would be Booking.com. I don’t have that option at all.


If I do nothing, does the reservation stay valid, or could it get cancelled?


Honestly I don’t like the new time anyway and would rather cancel and get a refund, but Booking.com support is basically impossible to reach. It’s just AI chat that doesn’t understand the situation and there’s no way to talk to a real person.


Has anyone been in this situation with Wizz Air and Booking.com? What actually happens if you don’t confirm the change?
