Flight got canceled at the gate and Booking still hasn’t refunded me 2 months later

Booked a flight through Booking. It was canceled while I was literally at the gate.


Airline told me I’m entitled to a full refund but since I booked through Booking, they have to request it. So I contacted Booking within 30 minutes of the cancellation. They said no problem, refund would take 10 to 15 business days.


That was almost two months ago.


I’ve been following up almost every week. Same answer every time. They haven’t received the money from the airline yet and can’t give me any timeline.


I have screenshots of all chats, including the first one where they told me all I had to do was wait.


I paid with a credit card and I’m seriously considering a chargeback at this point, even though the card has since been canceled.


Has anyone actually gotten their refund from Booking in a situation like this? Did a chargeback work?
