Had a JetBlue flight delayed for hours, then canceled right as we were about to leave. Their automatic rebook was TWO days later which just wasn’t an option.
Tried getting help at the airport but got nowhere, so ended up buying my own $250 flight to a different airport and then a train home.
Also had to spend the night in the airport.
Feels pretty unfair to be stuck paying for all that when the cancellation wasn’t my fault. Curious if anyone’s actually had success getting reimbursed in a situation like this.
