Just flew Toronto to Delhi in Air India business class today and wanted to share a different perspective.
No major complaints. Food was excellent, which has always been a strong point for Air India in my experience. Crew were genuinely nice and friendly. Seats fully reclined and I didn’t hear anyone around me complaining about the hard product.
Only real issue was my charging port didn’t work, but my phone was already charged so it wasn’t a big deal. I did let the crew know.
My domestic connection out of Delhi was actually fantastic. Big contrast.
The international flight was clearly on a legacy aircraft, and that’s where most of the rough edges are. It’ll take time for those planes to catch up to the newer domestic fleet.
Just figured I’d post this since most Air India threads tend to skew negative.
