First time on SQ JFK–SIN in business… what should I know?

That’s a marathon but honestly one of the best ways to do 18 hours.

Singapore business is a different vibe from Polaris. Service is usually more polished and proactive, so you may not need to “hack” it as much.

A few things:

Pajamas: Yes, they provide them on ultra long haul like JFK–SIN. You can ask early if they don’t proactively offer.

Mattress pad: On the ultra long routes they usually provide a mattress topper when you ask for turndown. Definitely request it when you’re ready to sleep.

Book the Cook: If you haven’t already, check if your flight offers it. You can pre select upgraded mains that aren’t on the standard menu. Worth doing.

Snacks: You can request things anytime. They’re usually happy to bring noodles, sandwiches, fruit, etc.

The seat is very wide but you do have to flip it to make it a bed. Ask them to set it up if you don’t want to deal with it.

For the return SIN–EWR, the service tends to feel even smoother departing Changi. Leave time to enjoy the SilverKris lounge too.

Biggest advice for 18 hours: eat lightly, hydrate a lot, and try to sleep in one solid block instead of grazing the whole flight.

You picked a good airline to attempt your longest flight yet.
