I’m 19F and planning my first solo international trip. Looking to fly Pittsburgh to Frankfurt late May or early June. Budget is $800 to $900 round trip and I want to book directly with the airline.
Every option I’m seeing is either 18+ hours total or has a 6+ hour layover. I’m not sure if that’s just normal from Pittsburgh or if I’m missing something.
Are there better days of the week to search or fly? Better times of day to book? Should I be looking at specific airlines for this route?
I’m hoping to book this week but I don’t want to rush and overpay if there’s a smarter way to do it.
Any advice would really help. This is all new to me.
