Lufthansa has acknowledged multiple times that they owe us €800 for delays. It’s been four months. Dozens of emails. Chats. Promises. Still no payment.
At this point it’s less about the money and more about the principle. It genuinely feels like they acknowledge liability and then just… stall.
After reading some posts here, I filed a complaint with Schlichtungsstelle Reise & Verkehr (the German ombudsman for travel disputes). Uploaded all documentation and submitted the case. Supposedly they help resolve things out of court.
Has anyone here actually gone through the SÖP process with Lufthansa? Did it finally get payment moving?
