Just got hit with a nasty scam attempt. Searched Google for Delta’s customer service number (yeah, I know…) and it showed +1-855-564-8075. Called it and an Indian-sounding guy with tons of static picked up.
He starts asking for DOB, credit card info, all to “rebook my suspended flight.” I almost fell for it. When I hung up, I saw an attempted charge from EARNFLIGHTS that luckily got auto-declined.
Turns out scammers are planting fake numbers on random sites so Google’s AI search pulls them up. In this case it was from Quora.
Just a heads up, these people are absolute trash.
