Shared a frustrating experience with Emirates during the recent disruptions.
The original first class ticket (booked for Feb 28) kept getting pushed back and cancelled repeatedly. Eventually managed to get home by buying a seat on one of the so-called repatriation flights.
Later noticed that a flight that had originally been booked suddenly appeared available again, even though an email had said it was cancelled. Contacted support to try to be rebooked onto it, but they said there were no seats available.
At the same time, searching the Emirates website showed that tickets were still being sold for that exact flight, and it was possible to purchase one normally.
Even as a Platinum member with a fully paid first class ticket, the only real solution ended up being buying another ticket, which made the whole situation feel pretty frustrating.
