Been flying Delta for almost 30 years, but I’m honestly fed up with how status is now all about Amex spend instead of flying. Someone can hit Diamond without ever stepping on a plane.
I get that things change, but it feels like a slap in the face to the people actually out there flying every week. Sky Clubs are packed, upgrades are rare, and Comfort+ costs extra anyway. Kinda makes me wonder why stay loyal at all.
