Delta charging more for SLC–JFK than JAL to Tokyo

SLC to JFK on Delta costs more than flying JFK to Tokyo on JAL. Make that make sense. I’m Diamond with a Delta card, but honestly thinking of walking away.

Feels like they cut routes, kept fewer nonstops, and jacked up prices anyway. “Thanks for the bailout, now here’s a $900 domestic ticket.”
