I tried to book Hilton Osaka in the app for 110,000 points, I had the points, went through the flow, and then it told me I didn’t have enough. Super frustrating in the moment.
Ended up discovering the room I was trying to grab wasn’t a standard reward room, so the points/cert options wouldn’t apply. Lesson learned: always double-check that the room is a standard award before you hit checkout. If the app acts up, try the desktop site or call Hilton support sometimes agents can see inventory differently and help you out.
