Had a small travel annoyance on my last flight and I’m curious how people deal with it.
By the time I boarded, the overhead bins near my seat were already full, so I had to put my carry-on about three rows behind me. When we landed I had to squeeze back through people in the aisle to grab it, which felt pretty awkward.
Someone told me this happens because people boarding early sometimes put their bags in the first open bins they see instead of near their seat, especially if their seat is farther back.
Got me wondering if there’s any real solution to this besides just boarding earlier. Seems like it creates a mess during boarding and deplaning.
