I have a 39 hour layover in Istanbul on the way from Vienna to Seoul and I am thinking of doing the free TourIstanbul service.
The tour returns to the airport around 18:00, but my flight is at 02:00 the next day. I would rather stay in the city a few more hours and head back to the airport around 22:00 on my own using public transport.
Has anyone separated from the group like that instead of taking the return bus? Since it is a complimentary service and they say joining and leaving is your responsibility, I assume it should be fine, but I just want to make sure there are no issues.
Also, are the meals actually included in the tour?
