Looking at flying Spirit for a family vacation. There are six of us, including young kids. The option we’re considering is PHL to FLL with about a one hour layover.
I haven’t flown Spirit in years and mostly remember the horror stories. I usually fly Frontier, so I know the ULCC drill, but I’m a little uneasy with the connection.
Main worry is getting stuck in FLL with kids if the first flight is delayed and we miss the connection.
For anyone who’s flown Spirit recently, how’s their on time reliability these days? Would you risk a one hour layover with kids, or is that asking for trouble?
