Seeing an upgrade offer from economy to business on Air India for DEL to Male. Flight is about 4h25m. The upgrade price is ₹15,926 per person, so roughly ₹32k total for two of us.
Departure is in about 24 hours. There are currently 5 business class seats left. I’ve noticed in the past that upgrade prices sometimes drop closer to departure, but not sure if that still happens or if these are basically fixed now.
For those who’ve flown this route or taken last minute upgrades on Air India recently, does this seem like a decent deal or worth waiting to see if it drops?
