I reserved a room that was clearly listed as sleeping four. King bed plus a pull out sofa. When we arrived, it was just a king with a chaise lounge that wasn’t meant to sleep on.
So basically a room for two.
They said they don’t even have rooms like the one I booked, but I have screenshots showing the listing and my reservation details. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked because of a sports tournament, so we had no choice but to stay.
They offered about 30,000 IHG points as compensation.
Does that sound fair for three nights in the wrong room type? Or would you push for more? If so, what would you ask for?
