Booked a flight under my name but paid with a friend’s card. Can they cancel it?

I’ve got an upcoming international flight booked in my name. I sent my friend the money to cover my ticket, and at the time we booked it using his card. Circumstances have changed and now he’s threatening to cancel the booking just to mess with me.

The ticket is most likely non refundable anyway, but I’m wondering what actually happens here. The booking is under my name and I have clear proof that I paid for my ticket, even though his card was used.

I’m planning to call Jetstar support tomorrow and see what my options are, but figured I’d ask here first in case anyone’s dealt with this kind of situation before.
